Beaufort makes it personal with: Kelly van den Broek

Utrecht, January 2024

Beaufort Transformations and Transactions champions the motto: ‘Perfection made Personal.’ What does that mean in daily practice? In this series, the consultants from Beaufort explain how they make it ‘Personal’. This week: Kelly van den Broek.

The success of our plan depends on the people who bring it to life.” – Kelly van den Broek, consultant.

Perfection made Personal, what do you think that means?

“For me, ‘Perfection Made Personal’ means the commitment to always deliver the best performance and to continuously strive for improvement, especially in the complex world of restructurings and financial issues. It is crucial to add a personal touch to the issues and to translate our insights into advice that suits the client’s situation. This allows us to really make a difference.”

In a successful restructuring, we delve deep into the organization, uncovering areas of potential improvement and identifying possible opportunities. Our thorough analysis not only provides insight but also fosters engagement. We listen to all perspectives, thereby mapping the core of the problem. After all, the success of our plan depends on the people who bring it to life.”

And Kelly: how do you make it Personal?

“The most important thing for me is to connect with the individuals within a company, to understand and get to know them. This forms the foundation for a personal and productive collaboration. By putting myself in the shoes of the clients, I discover what drives them, where their passions lie, and what goals they pursue. It gives a fulfilling feeling to be able to make a substantial contribution to the resolution of a complicated situation, and making it manageable again.”
