Dirk van der Velden will join Utrecht-based consultancy firm Beaufort Transformations and transactions on July 1st.

Background
In his new role as Consultant, the 26-year-old young professional will focus mainly on performance improvement projects and restructuring advice, where he can apply his financial and legal knowledge. Dirk acquired this knowledge during his student days – Van der Velden graduated in Financial Economics and Financial Law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam – and during an internship. He completed this internship at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he was engaged in company valuations and market analyses.
Growth ambition
Jan Janssen, one of the founding partners of Beaufort, is pleased that after Luuk Louter (who joined at the beginning of this year) another young talent has chosen to join the consultancy firm. “With the arrival of Dirk, we can further shape the growth ambition of Beaufort. As a result, we can continue to serve our clients with high-quality advice in the field of performance improvement, debt advisory and corporate finance.”
Beaufort was established in 2013. The agency focuses on strategic and financial issues in six sectors: healthcare, real estate, construction, industry, transport & logistics and business services. The Beaufort team consists of mostly experienced consultants and a few young talents. “This way we offer the specialist knowledge and experience at the level clients are used to,” Janssen says.
